So obviously I've started the first season of seven of Gilmore Girls on Netflix today instead of getting a jump start on my homework... I know, I know you're all very disappointed in me, or maybe impressed with my throwback procrastination skills. Either way I love the show. I remember watching it when I was younger, always out of context so I never really understood the story line, but it was always fun to watch with my mom.
I remember actually being in California years ago and seeing an episode of the show being filmed from a distance, it was exciting! Thanks again to my mom's friend Holly for the awesome Warner Bros tour that I still remember to this day. I wish I could have met Jared Padalecki in his youth, sigh... I can't believe his name was Dean in the show and then he went on to play Sam Winchester, Dean's younger brother. So many Deans. Anyway......... I love Jared.
Lauren Graham is a gem and I feel if I ever become a mother that i'll be like her character Lorelai. Alexis Bledel is so young here, I can't even handle it. Watching this show really makes me think of the past, of childhood, of familial relationships. It makes me miss my mom too. Hopefully I get to see her during Spring Break. Technically I haven't seen her since last year. Oh Mamma.
Anyway I'm losing track of where I was going with this blog post, so I'll end it here with gifs and some advice: Don't get sucked into a show with 5+ seasons on a Sunday when you have homework and school the next day.
