Where's Bernie?

When I was at R.R. National Airport yesterday night, I went to a Hudson store in the terminal and browsed the different merchandise they had. And then I noticed that something was missing. Where was Bernie!? I was so shocked and pissed off that I had to take a picture of the display. This is proof that certain people are trying to paint a certain narrative and seem so certain that these two bozos will be running against each other for the presidency. It's disgusting.

I was so annoyed by this display that when it was my turn to pay for my items, a bottle of water and some key chains, I asked the cashier "Why don't you have any Bernie shirts?" To which she replied "I don't know. I don't even know why we have those ugly trump shirts." We both agreed that it was disgusting and then she told me that she had tried to turn all the shirts to hide his stupid face, but they were later turned back by management. I think this is really significant. Just think about it. Looking at this display, you're only getting the story they want you to see, the outcome they  expect and they deny that someone else even has a chance. It's all Bullshit, and I'm sick of it.  Bernie has a chance, three landslide wins in the past few days, his campaign has the most momentum right now, and he's the only completely honest candidate.

Clinton is a liar and flips on issues whenever she pleases so long as it gets her votes. Today I watched a thirteen minute long video of Hillary just lying throughout. Lie after lie. It's sad. She supported this, now she's against that, blah blah blah, it's a desperate cry of "vote for me please." I'm sick of her stating that she'd be the first woman president of the United States, it's basically her only argument at this point, she doesn't need to be, and it doesn't make you a feminist if you vote for her just because she is a woman. Real feminists look at both sides and realize that she is not what we need. Clinton has lost the support of many Feminist leaders in our society, and for good reason. Just because she's a woman, it doesn't mean she has our best interest in mind. I've provided the Clinton video below:
On a related note, have you seen that Hillary is refusing to debate against Bernie in New York unless he changes his tone?  It's absolutely  laughable. I'm adding some enjoyable dank memes  below that address this: #tonedownforwhat

The above "Chicken" meme is a direct reference to the little bird that visited Bernie at the podium at his rally in Portland, Oregon. Bernie Sanders is basically a real life Disney Princess, and that little bird is basically mother nature letting the world know who she supports for the candidacy. Unlike Drumpf  who was attacked by a Bald Eagle, the symbol of American freedom, or Hillary who does not have the support of the birds at this present moment. #BirdieSanders
Here is the amazing video of the little bird that will possibly go down in history  as the Bird that won the election and saved the planet. CLIMATE CHANGE IS REAL.

I couldn't help  but provide more dank memes, I've become obsessed and these are simply wonderful.  I believe the birds  have spoken, and they know something we don't know, I truly believe that.

Don't let the media fool you, Bernie is closer than you think, and the Super delegates  can always flip. Never give up and don't let them convince you it's over because it's not!

Voter Suppression  is real, and so is Fraud. It seems that it's the only way candidates with big money supporters (super pacs) will be able to win. I'm looking at you former first lady.

If she wasn't afraid of debating against Bernie, she wouldn't be making such a lame excuse as "Tone it down." It's freaking hilarious... but Let's see what 2008 Hillary thinks about this:

DC

Washington, D.C., The District of Columbia , the Capital of the United States that isn't actually a state itself. This is where I was born. I've always been oddly out of place my whole life, and I suppose DC reflects that in some way. It's not a state, it's just a piece of land that used to be part of Maryland and part of Virginia, just as I'm a piece of flesh thrust upon this land... Hahaha i'm being a bit melodramatic aren't I? Anyway, this is where I was born, and yet this is the place I always sigh about and tell people "Ugh, DC is boring," or "DC sucks," etc, and I completely stand by these opinions. DC sucks because I'm too young for it. It's dreadfully boring for a twenty-year-old who can't go into bars or clubs and doesn't exactly have friend around this area anymore. The only reason I even come back to DC from my home in Chicago is to see my mom. I love the woman. This poor soul that had to push me out of her oh so long ago still lives here in DC, but she loves it. I believe it is because she is old enough to enjoy it. She's always going out, always having fun with her gays (she lives in DuPont Circle),  or cooking, baking, going to the gym, working, etc... Maybe I will enjoy DC and learn to appreciate it when I'm a bit older, like the way my mom enjoys it here. Let's hope, and if not there is always ALASKA.

Spring is here! But in DC it's a bit chilly. It seems as though I've brought the Chicago wind with me, and it's a good thing I brought my jacket and rain/snow boots.

These photos are from Friday, it was warmer then, and I went for a nice long walk with my mom. The cherry blossoms were almost in bloom, but the wind and rain these past two days has halted their process.  Hopefully tomorrow morning they will be at full peak and i'll take some nice photos.

DC used to have Donkeys and Elephants all over, to represent the two political parties. They all had different designs and we're just amazing to see on the street as a kid. Eventually they had Pandas too, DC is panda crazy because of the Pandas at the zoo. I found this one by the Spanish Steps near Kalorama, and it is obviously owned by some rich patron. Most the the statues are gone now, scattered and owned by the rich... I would like to see some sort of street art statue craze again, but I doubt that will happen.

The Spanish Steps are actually very close to where I grew up. You can actually see my mom's apartment building in this photo.

More flowers and some pictures of my mom.

Below is some street art found in Adams Morgan, a nice neighborhood in DC that reminds me a bit of Logan Square in Chicago, but smaller.  I've seen this artist's work in Chicago as well, but their name escapes me at this moment.

In Adams Morgan, my mom and I found an amazing little coffeehouse/bookstore that reminds me of a similar set up in Lincoln Square in Chicago.  The coffee was great too.

Adams Morgan, what a beautiful neighborhood.

This reminds me of something you'd see on a college campus in films. Filers everywhere and for everything.

I'M BERNT OUT

If you're my friend on Facebook then you already know I'm Bernie crazy. Joining the "Bernie Sanders Dank Meme Stash" group has probably made me even more excited and obsessed with spreading the Bernie love. I apologize for all the posts, but i'm not sorry for my political stance. I may have been a bit extreme and consistent with the Bernie posts, but that's because I believe we can make a difference, and I believe that Bernie Sanders is the right man for the job.

Obviously I'm not an idiot. I know that the role of a president  is not as powerful as one would believe.   Representatives of each state are the problem, and the reason that Obama has had problems getting stuff done. We can't blame him because there is a wall of old white people getting in the way of change. The House and Senate are the ones that control the majority of public policies. I know this, and it's sick that people don't realize or understand this and then blame the President. I believe President Obama is one of the best Presidents in the history of our Nation, and it's horrible to hear otherwise because people blame him for decisions beyond his control.

Remember to vote for your state representatives. Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky of Illinois is great.  Make sure you vote,  most of congress is up for  reelection   right now!  If we can get the house to reflect our views and the views of the Democratic  nominees, then maybe we can start to see a change in our Nation.  I Feel The Bern, but I also know that it may not be enough.  SO make sure you focus on every aspect of the election process, make sure you know that the President doesn't have all the power, and we need to back the next president up with the right support system.  Hopefully that person will be Bernie. I'm hopeful, as many of my young friends are, and hopefully our turn out in Illinois will help Bernie win the  candidacy .

WE STOPPED TRUMP

The rally for Donald Trump at the University of Illinois  at Chicago Pavilion was postponed. With the energy of the different organizations on campus and the un-breaking spirit of the protesters, we did it! "We Stopped Trump," was one of the chants that roared throughout the pavilion. The strength of the students  did not go unrewarded. We waited. Waited some more. Trump didn't come. We are victorious tonight, the students at UIC, and the other protesters that were present as well. Hate did not win tonight. Along with the Muslim Student Association (MSA) on campus, I attended the rally. There is strength in numbers and we went in silently with a plan. Different organizations on campus had there own plans as well. We wanted to resist chanting until Trump showed his face, but he never came and we could not resist chanting for our beliefs. "Muslims are American," "We are not criminals," "We stopped Trump," "Bernie," "Si Se Puede," were among the  chants we screamed at the top of our lungs.

WE STOPPED TRUMP, and our protest it the top story on CNN right now. Don is actually interviewing Trump as we speak, and of course  all he keeps doing is dodging questions.  He said that "Protesting is a job," for us, and that we do it for fun, but he needs to realize that we protest because we thrive on free speech and can't stand hate any longer. Trump will not make America great again because it was never great to begin with. If the world could still be so filled with hate,  i'm thinking of Trump's supporters here,  than America was never great. If hate could still be this prevalent it's because it never stopped.

In Purgatorio, Dante asks Marco Lomardo,  The world is full of evil, but I want you to tell me why? and Marco  tells Dante that  the cause of evil in the world is man.  Evil  comes from us, not  outer forces. The outer forces being "the stars" or god. The soul is born innocent, but it is also ready to love and be attached to lesser goods. We as humans have free will, but without guidance  our souls that are born readily to love will  be inclined to love a lesser good.  The point I am trying to get across here is that  we are the reason for hate in the world, and we can also be the reason for Peace, with the right guidance. In this case, the guidance of Bernie Sanders, and not someone prone  to a lesser form of love, essentially Hate, like Donald Trump.

Trump can claim we protest for fun, but we know what we protest for. We protest for Love. For Peace. For Equality.  We protest because we have free will, and we will not let hate consume us. We will not blame our problems on minorities.  We will not build walls to keep anyone out. We will break down the walls, literal and figurative that  stand in our way  of peace. Trump did not speak tonight. We spoke. We were heard. The media may not show our side of the story the way it should, but we will all know that our voices did something tonight. Our voices were heard, and our message will not die. We stand together to fight hate, and we stand together against Trump.  Si Se Puede!
What the media won't show you.
