Girlhood Girlhood is a story that follows Daisy, a young woman who just can't seem to shake off her depressive and aggressive nature. She finds pleasure in power and control. The story is chronologically out of order and must me pieced together like a puzzle in the reader's mind. It explores the effect of past experiences on a person's mind and future choices. (2015)

Crushed Red In my advanced fiction class we were instructed to write a scene that included instructions on how to do something we can do well. So, obviously, I wrote about making lasagna, but it takes so long to make that I only wrote about making tomato sauce. We were supposed to write in a way that didn't feel like the reader was being instructed... hopefully I succeeded. (2015)
